Meet the Office of Organizational Excellence
Continually upholding high quality standards is a top priority at PharmaLink. We strive to exceed customer expectations and provide services with the highest level of quality. To better serve our customers at that level, we promoted our internal quality management team to the Office of Organizational Excellence. Patricia Fitzgerald, Vice President & General Counsel and head of the Office of Organizational Excellence, continues to grow her team of Quality Experts “to expand our company culture based on quality.” The Office of Organization Excellence exists to enforce PharmaLink quality initiatives through standardization and process auditing.

One method we are implementing to reinforce our focus on quality is becoming Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) compliant. This methodology compliments our internal view on quality and offers additional structures that aid in holding our team accountable to the highest levels of quality. The Office of Organizational Excellence have incorporated GMP compliance standards in training, process validation, and technology evaluation. For each process in place, we are taking the necessary steps to surpass quality standards and promote the emphasis on exceeding expectations.
The most current effort from the Office of Organizational Excellence to enforce quality is the continuous improvement of our standardized internal processes. Standardizing these processes means employees are trained on how to complete their job function the same way and also in the way that best meets quality expectations. The audit and update of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) does more than ensure that quality is being upheld, it also prevents employee deviations and increases process efficiencies. By standardizing our internal processes, we can continuously evaluate our team’s adherence to our quality initiatives as well as measure how we are performing compared to our customer’s expectations.
The Office of Organizational Excellence was formally established earlier this year. Since then, great strides have been taken in the updates of SOPs and implementation of other quality initiatives. Patricia expects her team to “take us to a level in the industry that no other pharmaceutical reverse distributor has attained by training our employees to not only meet our company goals but also to meet their personal goals”.
